Play cartridges from any region with your Operator device.

Both the GB Operator and SN Operator are completely region-free. You can play cartridges from any region without restrictions.

Supported regions

All regions are supported for both devices:

The GB Operator works with Game Boy® cartridges from all regions:

No modifications or settings changes are required. Japanese, European, and American games all work identically.

The SN Operator works with Super Nintendo® cartridges from all regions:

The SN Operator is region-free, so region doesn’t affect compatibility. All three cartridge shapes fit in the device.

While all regions work, be aware that:

Japanese games typically display Japanese text
Some games have region-specific content or features
Save files from one region may not be compatible with a different region’s version of the same game

Import games work the same as domestic games
Cartridge cleaning is especially important for imported games that may have been in storage
The authenticity check works regardless of region
