Playback implements Qt’s accessibility framework (QAccessible), providing compatibility with screen readers on all supported platforms.

Accessible elements

All interactive elements in Playback have accessible names that screen readers can announce:

  • Navigation buttons and menus

  • Dialog boxes and notifications

Keyboard navigation

Playback supports full keyboard navigation:

  • Tab moves between interactive elements
  • Enter/Space activates buttons and controls
  • Arrow keys navigate within menus and lists
  • Escape closes dialogs and exits fullscreen

High contrast and display

Playback uses your operating system’s display settings:

  • Respects system-wide high contrast modes
