Playback implements Qt’s accessibility framework (QAccessible), providing compatibility with screen readers on all supported platforms.

Accessible elements
All interactive elements in Playback have accessible names that screen readers can announce:
- Navigation buttons and menus
- Settings options and dropdowns
- Device and cartridge information
- Game controls and status indicators
- Dialog boxes and notifications
Keyboard navigation
Playback supports full keyboard navigation:
- Tab moves between interactive elements
- Enter/Space activates buttons and controls
- Arrow keys navigate within menus and lists
- Escape closes dialogs and exits fullscreen

High contrast and display
Playback uses your operating system’s display settings:
- Respects system-wide high contrast modes
